Windows 7: Desktop Manager Stopped Working

Hi,

I have just started receiving desktop manager error. It will not load my default color scheme. My pc had some problems a few days ago and I did a repair install and i thought every thing was ok, but today this error showed up. All drivers are up to date. Any ideas how to fix it?

I ran sfc /scannow and no problems found.

What happens if you change the color scheme or change the Theme temporarily? If it's okay then you can set it back up the way you like it.

I tried that and it will not change. While i was there, i ran the trouble shooter and it said that Windows Desktop Manager was disabled. I went into services.msc and it was set to automatic. After my repair install, everything worked great! the only thing that I did, was reinstall Bitdefender.

For anyone else that has this issue, I reinstalled all my graphics drives(Nivida and Intel) and the problem was fixed...atleast for now.
