Desktop startup problem

    Desktop startup problem


    i am having the shown error when i start my home desktop. at first the shown screen comes up, then i would press F4 then only windows will boot!
    any help regarding this?

    First thing I notice is you need to set your time correct in the bios and in Windows.

    the date/time has been set. i get the following screen now.

    Do you have an A drive (floppy)? How come date/time was not set? I also see "checksum error". Reset your cmos settings.

    Unplug any floppy drive and/or disable it in BIOS.

    Set the HD first to boot in BIOS setup.

    If this fails work throught Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot

    hey i disabled the floppy drive in BIOS and the problem is fixed now!
