hard shutdown caused problems. need help figuring it out

    i waited 40 minutes and the power would not turn on. so i unpluged and repluged the power cord and the computer then turned on.

    Do you hear any buzzing noises from the power supply? Try cleaning out your pc with compressed air to keep yoyr system from overheating.

    No buzzing and i have already cleaned it out with compressed air

    Please reread my earlier post #10.
    I would strongly suggest that you try a replacement PSU at this point. Make sure that its rating will take care of the GPU card in addition to any HDDs you may add to the system.
    Let us know what you find.
