Program too big to fit in Memory!!!

    Hi All,
I am Continously getting this error "Program too big to fit in Memory" whenever i am trying to install any Game (or any dos installers).
i tried reinstalling the windows, with different discs, different versions 32 bit - 64 bit,
Formatting the Hard disk from Dos, Ubuntu.
i have also tried updating bios, increasing the size of Paging memory,
Modified registry as mentioned in other Posts, Updated all the drivers,
Fully updated the Windows. but none of the above things helped.

    I am running Lenovo ideapad z560 with corei5 4GB ram 500GB Hard-disk.

    Please Help!!!

    Thanks in advance

From what I've read on various help forums, the error message "Program Too Big To Fit In Memory" usually has to to with a damaged or corrupt Windows Installer. You could try running a system file checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two) but if you're still having this problem even after doing a reinstall of Windows 7 it might be something else entirely.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Since there is no standalone Windows Installer for Windows 7, this Microsoft Forum thread may provide some additional help:

Windows Installer 5.0 is released with Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. Windows Installer 5 is not available as a standalone version and you can either download Windows 7 SDK Web installer or the Windows 7 SDK ISO file. The advantage of the web installer is you can choose to install any subset of the SDK. It however requires you to be connected to the internet. The ISO file is a complete package and it can even be installed on a computer not connected to the internet.
Also hope these articles would help:

Windows 7 Includes Both Windows Installer 5.0 and Windows Installer 4.5
