Hi it is a Emachine el1352 (mini tower) windows 7 home premium 64-bit it has a AMD Athlon 11 170u processor
also nvidia geforce 6150se up to 895mb dvd super multi drive 320 gb hard drive 2gb ddr3 memory multi all in one card reader that about all I can tell you except I did a total factory restore about 8am today and the blue screen came back about 2 hours ago after it had been on all day the error it said was a PFN LIST ERROR.
Geoff
Create and post a mini dump file as follows;
For Windows 7:
The file will be stored in; C:\WINDOWS\Minidump, unless the path was modified in the system failure settings of Windows.
- Go to the Control Panel, choose 'System And Security', and then click 'System', and then click the 'Advanced System Settings' link.
- In the opened window, click the 'Advanced' tab and then inside the 'Startup And Recovery' frame, click the 'Settings' button.
- In the opened 'Startup And Recovery' window, there is 'Write Debugging Information' section. You should set the combo-box in this section to 'Small memory dump', and then click 'ok' to confirm the change.
Post back the results.
Ok I will do I have just done another factory restore so I will set that up as soon as the pc is ready and keep you informed I have had the pc Im on now for over 10 years and never had a problem the pc I am trying to fix is about 14 months old.
