    What is Direct X?


    People talk all about it when I land on random games. Just what is it? I've checked the internet but I didn't really find anything useful... And what is it used for? I see I have Direct X 11

ok, well i didnt know what happend but i did remember i deleted and removed adobe photoshop and i guess i accidentally deleted direct x 9 or what ever version i had on my computer...is there a possible way i can get that back? i cant play my games on my computer and my stupidity got rid of...
