    Unable to change BIOS settings

I would like to change the boot order in my BIOS, but nothing on the keyboard will work. I reboot, and the splash screen for Gigabyte comes up. I hit the delete or F12 button and the BIOS screen comes up. Then nothing I do on the keyboard works. I have to hit the reset button.

Since I can start the BIOS using the keyboard, I know that the keyboard is working before the Gigabyte screen comes up.

How to repair, fix or workaround?

    Thanks for any help.

If your motherboard supports it, you may have to use a PS/2 keyboard, and then make sure Legacy USB devices are enabled.

Deacon - Thanks for your quick reply. After reading your suggestion, I went to Device Manager and found that the driver for the keyboard was from Logitech, (I have a logitech keyboard), but the driver used to be from Microsoft. I remember installing a driver for a Logitech mouse a few months ago, so it must have also installed a driver for the keyboard. Since I have not been into the BIOS for about 3 or 4 months I never noticed the driver change.

Everything works now. Problem solved. Thanks
