Sleep problem

Hi
I have Windows 7 64bit installed on my Vaio laptop. The problem is that when I close the lid to put it into sleep, after a few minutes it will start up again and then put itself into hibernate. Another problem is that sometimes when I close the lid it will turn of the display and freeze on a black screen.

Does anyone know why this is?

Thanks

Sassa posted this with a link for more research about the hibernation:

Hopefully this will give you a place to start finding answers?

Cheers!
