In that case if all you want to do is rescue your files I would download the much smaller ISO for Hiren’s BootCD 15.1 and write it to flash stick using this tutorial: Hiren's BootCD From USB Flash Drive (Pen Drive) » www.hiren.info.

Then boot the stick, choose XP, Explore WIn7 to find your files and drag them to your external HD.

What is it exactly you're trying to do with Win7, repair it, run Recovery, or reinstall it? Are you following the steps in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start? Hirens can be used for several of those steps but you'll need a Win7 DVD or Repair CD to fully repair it or reinstall.

I love you greg. I'm downloading Hirens BootCd at this moment. I want to save the file on the faulty machine to my ext hard disk. Then I will find another solution to fix to problem machine. The most important part right now is to save the important file from the faulty machine. Can HirensBootcd cover this greg?

Yes, use the XP browser. There are multiple other apps on Hirens as well to rescue files, test your HD, do the Partition Wizard, HD and memtest steps in troubleshooting tutorial.

I believe you got stuck on testing the HD. Find out the brand of HD and see if it has a HD diagnostics app on Hirens. If not use Seatools by Seagate which is on there to finally get a definite diagnosis on your HD.

I have try step 1 to 4 but not fix the issue. I have skip step5 to 7 since the iso file is quite huge to download. my internet connection are not that fast and sometimes it hang. So i try step 9 paragon, i download them and extract every file on ext hd. When I boot "ntrdl file is missing ctrl-atl-delete" error occured. Seriously I don;t know what I'm doing. So now I want to try the Hirens BootCD. I'm still curious can I use this tool without cd drive? As I said before I'm not a technical guy who know everything but I'm willing to learn slowly. When you're a bit lost you can't even read something simple properly. So please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Unless I am missing something your HD appears to be failing. Test it first using the HD Diagnostics on Hiren's boot disk (flash stick) for your HD make, or if you cannot determine the HD brand use Seatools.

I have repeated this nearly a dozen times in this thread. Why?
