| | Icons randomly messed up. All of a sudden when i booted my computer the icons got messed up like this.  |

| | Let us know ... what is the third party disk/registry cleaner you do use ? If those suggestions fail, try reinstalling those programs for which ou lost the icons, and stop using any third party cleaner (other than ccleaner) , if you use any. |

| | Use Ccleaner with its default settings, got allow the clean to be aggressive. What is the situation after rebuilding icon cache and running SFC ? Do you use adobe reader ? Is the icon for that program looking normal ? |

| | Reinstall all the programs those are changed their icons to generic ones. That would be easiest for you among all possible fixes. |
