    Profile Problem


    This problem just started last night. If I shut down my computer, then turn it on, it thinks I'm a new user and I don't have my wallpaper and ALL of my icon shortcuts on my desktop, but If I immediately reboot (without shutting the computer off) everything is the way its suppose to be. I tried this morning to shut down the computer and restart and its the same thing. I"m stumped on how to fix this. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    You may have to create a new user profile and move your saved things over to it. Here is how: Fix a corrupted user profile

    You might try an sfc scan first: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - created by Brink

Hi all, firstly sorry if this is in the wrong place.... Yesterday I turned on my computer as usual to find that when I entered my password into my user log on, instead of "welcome" I got "preparing your desktop". I didn't grasp quite what that meant (figured windows updates was to blame)...

i am having problem with windows 7 user profile. i hav made 2 profiles, main one works fine but when i log in to 2nd account then i wont load. instead a temporary profile gets loaded everytime. i am using windows 7 home basic 64 bit OEM i need a solution for this asap. thanks in advance

I have a picture that I want to delete. I have checked the delete image and saved. Also uploaded a new gif but still no joy. Im just curious as to why I cant either delete or upload new. Anybody got an idea? Ken
