I remember the day well because I had to re-install my entire system (recording studio PC with tons of VST plug ins) after someone brought in an infected USB stick and crippled my PC. It took me two days to re-install all the external hardware drivers and software.

17/02/2010 was the day I went out and bought an external drive and did my first full system image backup. Too little, too late, but never again.

This is my recording studio PC. I also have a gaming rig, a HTPC, an old dual-core system I set up as a server, and a few old dinosaurs (the oldest is an Intel P-90) that I use for DOS and Win95 gaming when I feel nostalgic.
Mine is 4/21/2012 on my primary desktop. My primary laptop has an original install date of 5/21/2012.

dude... how did you install it before it was officially released? I pre-ordered mine in July from Amazon, and received my discs in the mail on October 24 - 2 days after the official release.

Yes! Isn't SPECCY great? Totally trashes CPU-ID, for one, which I used for a long time. So much information, almost too much.:confused:

Laptop: 25/06/2011. (25 June 2011)

Reason why those dates are so close was that I rebuilt/upgraded the PC, reinstalled win7. Then wiped the HP lappy that I bought in 2009, removed all the manufaturer's crud;) and reinstalled Win 7. Made one heck of a difference!:D

BTW I was "somewhere in the Rockies" for a while in '82. Had the best holiday (sorry, vacation) of my life. BC and Alberta, what a great time, the Canadian Rockies are awesome. Always wanted to go back, never made it, but you have a beautiful country.
