I think useing SPECCY to check gives much more to discuss, like how many seconds has your computer been on since OS install among other things.

Art. Yes! Isn't SPECCY great? Totally trashes CPU-ID, for one, which I used for a long time. So much information, almost too much.

Reason why those dates are so close was that I rebuilt/upgraded the PC, reinstalled Windows 7. Then wiped the HP lappy that I bought in 2009, removed all the manufaturer's crud and reinstalled Win 7. Made one heck of a difference! 
BTW I was "somewhere in the Rockies" for a while in '82. Had the best holiday (sorry, vacation) of my life. BC and Alberta, what a great time, the Canadian Rockies are awesome. Always wanted to go back, never made it, but you have a beautiful country.
