windows 7 failed to boot after installing new usb mouse

    hi..
so, i just bought this new mouse razer lachesis 5600..
when i plugged in the mouse, install the driver, it went ok, no problems at all..

the problems start when i reboot, the screen just freeze at the motherboard screen (MSI 890fxa-gd70)..

i remember reading from this forum, to try unplugged all usb device, i did that, and my pc can boot normally.. mouse also have no trouble if i plugged it after i got on windows..
but everytime i reboot with mouse plugged in, it always freeze at the mobo screen..

so, is there any solution to solve this problem?

or i should unplugged my mouse everytime i want to reboot?

thx before.. and sorry for the bad english.. hope you can understand it

Have you tried updating your USB controller drivers? Check your Device Manager, and look under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers". Is there a yellow ! mark next to anything? ... The mouse may be working, but it could still be causing problems you don't see.

Uninstall the driver and the software of the mouse and try with Windows' standard mouse driver.
Should that work we at least know it is not your USB controller

Sounds like his machine is getting stuck on the bios screen so drivers are a non issue with his problem.

I would try plugging in the mouse to different USB ports and see if the problem occurs on all USB ports.

Motherboard bios may need to be updated or a setting in the bios needs to be changed.

You can also see if the problem occurs on another pc.

I have a USB hub that used to lock up the pc on the bios screen on an older board I had, had to unplug it, reset the pc, and it would boot up and I would plug the hub back in.

I would leave the bios update as a very last resort. That can be tricky. You don't list in your specs what kind of mouse it is? Also is it plugged into a USB expansion card or is it in the integrated USB port?

Here is a youtube installation video on it. It might tell you something that you missed on the installation.
