Need to select the default Windows 7 OS at boot, cannot boot into win7

    it says "'bootmgr'" is not a recognized external or internal command when typing that command in dos at the repair menu

    is the right command. sorry for typo

    That isn't going to work.

    Download NEW zip file from here ( do not download New.7z - that is different)

    Extract the .iso from the .zip file.

    Burn it to cd .

    Boot it up on your machine.

    in dos in recovery environment

    bcdedit/set    {bootmgr}    timeout    10
    I added some extra spaces for readability. Type it exactly as shown above. It must work! Just tried it myself
