How to reset/remove Insydeh20 BIOS HDD password

    How to reset/remove Insydeh20 BIOS HDD password


    The HDD password was set by mistake in the Insydeh20 BIOS and i don't know what it is. The computer is a Toshiba Satellite laptop. This is a REGISTERED password on the HDD that was set using the BIOS. Can anyone Help?

    Call toshiba and tell them the laptop serial number, assuming its not a stolen unit they will gladly help you.

    The answer to the solution..............


    After further review it has been determined that the HDD registered password on Toshiba laptops is a known BIOS problem. Toshiba had an update for the BIOS only supported til the end of 2010. Currently there is no support for this issue by the vendor. The only recourse is to replace the hard drive.

    Any other responses to this problem are incorrect and a waste of time. Hopefully this information will assist anyone else that encounters problem in the future. Good Luck!!
