Strange Notification Area Icons behavior with Brother 2270
I installed my Brother 2270 printer (already on the network) on my new W7HomePremium desktop. It works fine, but with a quirk. The NAI has created 2 instances of the Status Monitor software. One is "Ready" and the other is "Offline". Although I set the real one to show, it will not. If I set both to show, only the offline one shows.
I've run CC Cleaner, reinstalled it, done system restores, reset the cache, perused the registry, you name it.
The only thing I haven't done is let Windows 7 install it with it's WSD port.
Anyone else encounter anything like this?
