Troubles installing some programs, although i'm admin

My account on my computer has administration rights.

I have this issue from time to time, that if a setup.exe is for example started via firefox, a window pops up stating I should enter the password for the user "Administrator", although I have never configured such a user/password, and although I DO have admin rights with my current user. When I start such a setup.exe via explorer the normal UAC prompts where I can continue (or start the exe via rmb>start as admin).

Also this Admin-login-type-window shows up from time to time, when I try to move files from C: (f.ex. because some stupid program installed itself there). What SHOULD show up, in my opinion is the "really want to?"-admin-continue-button-window.

Due to this being bypassable, it's not a huge problem, but it is kind of a blow to the workflow.

my friend talked something about root-privileges that are tied to that supposed admin-account, but I dont know about that stuff. in my opinion, when my normal-user-account with admin-rights wants to install something, windows should f*cking do it and bring up the UAC if necessary, not a login-window for an administrator I never configured.

    any ideas? :)

Some BIOSs allow for creating a System Admin password. Might be worth a check.
