Windows 7: another question for you all

Windows 7

sorry I have no idea how to find half of those things, but these are what are under the "basic information" for my computer

Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 DUo CPU T5550

Installed Memory (RAM): 3.00 GB
System Type: 32-bit operating system

I would be happy to tell you more but I am going to need some instructions on how to do it. What I am doing is downloading the adobe installer for flashplayer 10 to my desktop and then "run as administrator" or just "opening" it from there and having no luck. looked up the problem through the adobe site, closed all programs and did other things as it instructed to and still would not work. Same with bittorrent, downloaded it to my desktop and it said it was not complete, tried to download with it in compatability mode with vista and still have nothing. I did get google chrome installed but when i click on it nothing shows up on the webpage and says an error has occured and I am not sure why that is happening as well
