Your mobo should beep without RAM. I wonder if it's failing.

Test your RAM next with memtest86 CD which will boot itself: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Will re-connect disk drive and re-insert memory, then boot with Memtest+86 flash drive in to see if it Boots.

    Still Stuck In Boot Manager

Notebook still boots into Boot Manager Screen. Memtest86+ does not initialize to boot Notebook. All Commands still unresponsive. Thinking MObO.

Try booting Hiren's boot CD which will also autostart on its own and provide memtest, apps to test and wipe the HD: Download Hiren

Write ISO to flash stick with Universal USB Installer with Hiren's Boot Disk in dropdown menu.

If this fails check for a bootable method to flash your latest BIOS version.

    saavy tech,

Memtest86+ CD will NOT boot to windows.

The CD has its own boot manager.

The CD does not use your hard drive.

You must boot from the CD.

You do NOT boot from the hard disk.

With Toshiba, all one does is start tapping the F12 key as soon as you power on and you get a one-time boot choice to choose DVD, hard disk, or USB.

Greg probably knows what the sequence is, or if there is a one-time boot, with HP which seem to have their own rules.
