    Welcome to SF, swatchi3247!

    First off, I would like to say that registry changes are very dangerous. They could cause permanent damage to the OS software.

    Could you please attach the registry file that you used to try and fix it?

    What I suggest is:

    System Restore

    That way the registry modification that you did is removed.

    Then I would continue to suggest to uninstall uTorrent.

    Can you tell me how you tried to fix the problem in the registry?

    this could also be a possible cause of a virus So give this a go:

    Do a full scan of your system using: Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

    Afterwards: Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

    If nothing pops up for both of those,

    try: Windows Defender Offline

    Generally the problem you describe is caused by either malware or a virus. I suggest you use a different computer to download a bootable Avira CD . Visit the following link for details;
