Burning DVDs, does not close out files when done.

Doesn't automatically ask to burn when new DVD or Cd is 'injected'.
This just started happening for no reason whatsoever.

Why everything online has to be so complicated?
I bet you think that^^ all the time, huh?

Anyways, Win7, 64, thanks for any light you can shed here...

What program are you using to burn the DVD?

I'm just using the Windows utility? Instead of automatically popping up asking if I want to burn on this new DVD, it's silent. I have to go to My Computer, then click on the DVD then it asks.

Also, after burning it just has some window saying it's done burning do I want to burn another copy.

Default programs? I don't know. I guess whatever it's 'set' for is what's causing this behavior.
That's the question, isn't it? How do I reset the default to do what I want. In this case:

Automatically ask what I want to do with new DVDs or CDs inserted into the drive.
And, automatically close out after burning.

What are the 'first>then>then' type steps I need to take here?

    Thank you.
