| | computer locked up my computer is completely locked up, every time i click on an icon or link or page it jumps to a completely different page or returns to the windows sign in page,th is there a way that i can format this disk? i am not able to add the computer information but it is an hp computer with 4 gigs ram. thank you bobk |

| | Hello Bobk, If you like, you could do a factory recovery to restore Windows 7 back to factory conditions. The link below from HP can help show you how to. Be sure to backup anything that you do not want to lose first though since it will format all of it.
