WIN 7 Search Failure to detect *.ECL files
I use an app called "Ashampoo Uninstaller 4" which initially monitors the hard drive content before an Installation and then compares these contents after an App is installed and saves this difference as an *. ECL file.
Thus , if it is eventually decided to uninstall this App , this *.ECL file is used to ensure all added data is removed leaving the P.C. as it was before the App was installed.
I was searching my hard drive today using the standard WIN 7 file/Folder Search where it faile to find any of these *.ECL files !
If I now use the Search App "Everything" it finds over 300 of these files ! Why should there be this failure of the WIN 7 Search Process ?
