- After i restart my PC the wireless internet takes like 5min to startup. But that don't annoy me at all.
- I tried installing ESET Security, it required reboot to finish install, then i did reboot but nothing happend? That could be because i hooked off alot of options in msconfig? any help :/ ?
Uncheck all items besides your AV and the needed sound program in both places to achieve and maintain a clean boot.
I do not see your AV there but it should remain..
After unchecking all and reboot, immediately uninstall any MucAfee which is some of the worst crapware in the industry and causes problems we regularly solve by uninstalling the mess.
Do you still have a factory preinstall? I see HP bloatware there which is why I'm asking, but it may be for an HP printer needing HP Support Asst ready to scan with. If it's OEM I would consider Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
djfresh you just put your computer back in the same mess that was just repaired. Your trying to install ESET security and you all ready have F.Security and MC Malware Afee. ONE ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM AT A TIME ON ONE COMPUTER. Believe us, all of us you don't need all those things starting on boot.
Go back to my post #4 and star all over again. Remove all those anti virus programs and install MSE and MAM. Then when things are working as they were in your post #6. Pick which anti virus program (ONE) that you want and remove all others and install that one only. I would keep MAM installed also.
