thumbnail refresh in folders
As we know W7 didn't provide the "refresh" option as in WinXP
Is there already a bypass or a fix available

Might be a bit of a hassle but in lieu of anyone else posting I can suggest this, the long way.
In the folder press Alt to call up the File bar and then go to Tools (or press T to instantly expand the menu). At the bottom is the option Folder Options, click this to call up the, well Folder Options window. In this window head to the 'View' tab and in the Advance Settings box you will find "Show hidden folders, files and drives."
Once you check the box for this and apply the change, you should see a new file called "Thumbs.db". Delete that and then wait for Windows to recompile the thumbnail database!
If that's not what you meant then I do apologise if I've listed something you already knew how to do.
Thx , but this was already done , and the solution is only for 1 map , not for the submaps, and it doesn't work always because the thumbnails are probably cached
Thx , THe Clear and Reset in combination with the changeview solved the problem :)
There's an easy way, for specific pictures.
Open the folder containing the pictures - and the thumbnails. Right-click in a blank area and select View. A list of icon sizes is displayed, with the one you are using marked. Select another size. Then repeat the process (from the right-click) and reset the icons to their original size. Thumbnails (for that folder) are updated.
