    Can't move desktop's icon

I move the icon to different location but it go back to old location when I refresh desktop. I have already turned off "Auto arrange icons" but the result is the same.

    Sorry for my english.

Right click when on a blank area on the desktop and click "View" Uncheck both "Auto arrange icons" and "Align to grid"

What desktop option do you use? A Theme, Classic or what? Try Windows Basic. Other than that I can only think you have corrupt file somewhere. Perhaps if you run sfc scannow it might find something!

I'm now a bit lost, I have to say! The only very remote possibility is if you are set to a screen resolution that Windows does not lik particularly and trieds to use a more optimum res. But that is really clutching at straws. I can't tell whether you have a desktop PC or laptop. You might just check the screen res though!
