Hi Christin, can you post a screenshot of your disk management window please ?

It will help us to see the situation and provide more help in this issue.

If you havent restarted after that conversion, dont do it; till you get the suggestions what to do there to secure your installation and partitions. You may not be able to boot back after restart.

You have created more then 4 primary partitions! Win7 did show you a popup message and asked you to convert it to dynamic disk. You didn't read it?

See this video to know how to convert dynamic disk to basic without lossing partitions and data

Video help on how to convert dynamic disk to basic disk with Partition Wizard partition magic?

If there are more than four partitions in a disk, it will be converted to dynamic. At first you are to convert your data partitions to extended first, and then you can make more partitions there.

    Dynamic is a problem.

Dynamic is a BIG problem. Avoid dynamic whenever it is offered.

    One thing at a time.

First, get rid of dynamic by using Partition Wizard.

Then and only then should you consider shrinking a partition.

    From dynamic to basic.

You might lose data. It's always a possibility.

So back up your data before you start.
