| | "Unable to find a volume for file extraction" Error Message I am trying to install a C++ Redistributable package and am encountering the following error dialog:  I am also encountering a similar dialog when I try to install the latest Silverlight plugin for IE9. I'm running Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. Can anyone please assist. Cheers |

| | I found one fix: Quote: Update: I was able to figure out a hack to get through. If I enable the UAC, and then explicitly run each program with admin rights, it asks for permission, then the programs run without a hitch. So... Since I hate UAC, how do I fix this? |
