    My Computer will not open .zip files


    It will not open .zip files, running Windows 7 Home premium...
    I'm using 7Zip, screenshot below, it used to open them....

    Did you try using other archiving software like WinRAR?

    Hi zzombiesniperz

    Redownload your zip file again ... it generally doesn't work if the zip is partially downloaded or corrupted.

    If the ZIP file is OK windows 7 should be able to open it with a double click. It has the support built in.

My desktop after a while will not open any programs or files. I would say after 30 min to an hour. I have to reset the computer manually and the whole issue happens again. This doesn't appear to happen in safe mode though. I've used multiple virus programs to remove them but the issue still...
