Windows 7: Multiple Windows 7 Copies

I have Win 7 retail. I currently have one installation of this OS on my machine in Bristol where I am doing my internship.

I am wondering if it is possible to install another copy of this same OS on my other machine where I live (elsewhere in the UK)?

I would never be using the OS at the same time. It would be mutually exclusive; either running on one machine or the other.

No, 1 license per computer, simple as that.

Yes, you can essentially only have it activated on one computer at a time.

I personally dont see an issue if you had 2 identical machines and physically moved the hard drive between the 2 machines.
You'd probably have to re-activate each time you moved the drive though.

Not really OP situation, what he wants is against the EULA, period, 2 computers 2 licenses.

Nothing prevents it technically really, but if you want to keep it LEGAL, then you can't.
Windows is licensed based on it being installed or not, not on if it's actually used or not. Having 2 copies installed, even if you never use them at the same time, means that you need 2 licenses to use them both legally.
