Windows won't show anything past the windows starting screen. No login
I have been runing windows ultimate x64 for over a year with no problems. Yesterday I had to take my computer with me somewhere and when I ended up getting back to my house and setting everything back up after the windows starting screen I could hear the windows log in audio music but the monitor would keep changing between analog and digital trying to find input.
What have I done so far?
Everything is fine in safe mode, I have installed the newest video driver, restored to a week before this problem occured, and disabled all services except for microsoft services.
After the restore I was able to get to the login like normal but after a minute the computer froze and I had to restart and the same problem happened, I couldn't see anything past the windows starting screen then I went back into safe mode and unchecked the programs and services except for microsoft and then I still had the same problem that I couldn't see the login screen.
I have a gtx 560 ti graphics card and have removed it and put it back in also and have switched between the two dvi ports but still no luck.
Is this an issue with the graphics card or windows? Before I try to RMA my card I want to make sure that that is what the problem could be.
