    Update your display driver
Updating my Display Driver is quite difficult (and not recommended, I've tried in the past on my old Toshiba Satellite), it's a "Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000", therefore a integrated Driver.

That's like forcing your kids to eat their vegetables when they really don't want too, you know it would be better but it doesn't work out.

In regards to centaur78, I'm running both Minecraft and my browser during this reading.

Sorry for my late reply, I had gotten distracted for a while.

With a warranty I would use it to get the overheating problem fixed. Cleaning out the laptop or repasting the processor is quite risky without previous experience, and foolhardy if you have a warranty anyway.
