Windows 7: Sleep power settings got all screwed up

Sleep power settings got all screwed up

Is anyone reading this?:

This is a desktop running 7 Home Premium. I had it set up ( don't recall exactly what the settings were ) so that the monitor went off after 10 minutes and it went to sleep mode after 20, with a password to wake again. I have a wattage monitor on the UPS that I keep showing all the time. The system draws about 121 watts when running normally awake. The way I had it set though, it went down to 1 watt or even 0 watts after that 20 minutes, it was amazing, then came back up fully when I clicked the left mouse button.

But a few days ago I was running a full scan with Avast! and it kept trying to shut down, so I went into the power settings and changed something so it wouldn't sleep while the scan was going. But I screwed something up, and now it seems to be sleeping after the 20 minutes, but the watt meter always says 120 watts.

Does anyone have any idea what I screwed up, and how to change it back?

Does it have something to do with some of the sleep or hibernate settings?
