Windows 7: I make a mistake in Windows 7 How can help me

I make a mistake in Windows 7 How can help me

2 days ago i have install windows 7 ultimate at my computer , and when i want to change a file with "open with" i forgot to Check the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file box. And now all my files are in notepad.

Someone can help me?

Right click the file You want to open , go to "open with"and from the menu choose the default program You want to open this kind of file.

All you have to do is to change the default association.

Type 'default' in the Start menu, and select "Default Programs".

When that Window opens, select 'Associate a file type or protocol with a program'.

From there you simply select the file type, and in the upper right of the Window select "default Program" which will give you an "open With" choice. If the app you want is not listed, simply navigate to the .exe location of the app you want associate the extensions to.


Or follow the above suggestions - all three methods will work
