How to make explorer sidebar "forget" previous expansion

Hello people, can anyone help me make explorer sidebar "forget" previous expansion?

I have set folder to "automatically expand to current folder" which is fine and dandy. However, when I open up a new folder, the sidebar has all the previously opened folders on the same level expanded, and it's an eyesore. Is there an option to make explorer minimize all folders in the sidebar once all folders have been closed? Like in windows vista?
