Commands are not showing up in the search field
Hello guys, searched google and didn't see anyone with this particular issue. So i have a computer that was infected, its all cleaned up. Then i noticed common commands that i would normally use like, inetcpl.cpl, cmd, msconfig are not showing up in the "search programs and files" field in the start menu. I use these commands alot so i know they filter out in the field. So i Then i did a "in place upgrade" (repair install) of the operating system.
Anyone know what the issue is? The files are in the windows/system32 but nothing in there is pulling up in the search field box.
Thanks in advance for any input.
