Windows 7: Display problems

Hey, I recently got getting some display problems and keep discovering them. I have tried several thing, but nothings changed. For example i can't adjust brightness, display wont turn off after some time of inactivity and also screen savers wont go on. How to resolve this?

I can adjust brightness now, but screen still wont turn off or go to screen saver mode.

Probably because the question you ask cannot be answered with the information you give. Basically, you say: "I have display problems". No background about what computer you are using, how it started, what you did to get part of it solved, anything. An answer might be: "Revert to factory settings", but I don't think that's what you are after.
