I leave mine on most of the time, but always reboot at least once a week just to let things reset again.

I leave mine all the time but latley since it is summer time i shut it down when i go to sleep for the sake of saving a little energy and to keep it from staying hot

Other then th at You can keep it on yippy skippy for as long as you wish

Just do occasional maintenance like canned air to blow out dust bunnys and keep the fans clean, filters ,drives Heatsink and you should be smooth sailing

Yes, it's safe. I have work machines that have rarely been turned off over the last 9 years!

I only shut mine down when I have to open it up, otherwise it is on 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

This is the longest any of my machines have gone without a reboot or shut down,

the only problem you will encounter i believe is OVERHEATING if your cooling system are not working well.

    >>if however you have a HIBERNATE mode on your power settings, it is a good idea to have your pc HIBERNATE for a while to cool down before you intend to go to bed, and turn it on if you decide to sleep (and set your pc to go HIBERNATION again to time you want before you wake up.)
