    Monitor Blinking

    Hey

Okay I have a problem. For sometime, whenever I started my computer, my screen would blink for a while but would eventually become stable and everything would be fine. But now, while I was using the computer, it suddenly went off. Now when I turn on the monitor it keeps blinking that is it comes on for a second and then goes off and then comes and so. It's impossible to use the computer this way. What should I do?

    Thanks!

Short answer is try another monitor. It does sound like a monitor issue. Let us know if that's it or not, and we'll go from there if needed.

    Sounds like bad caoacitors

Google "my monitor is blinking" or something similar. You will find many youtube videos about replacing bad capacitors. Bad capacitors are easy to spot. They cost about 50 cents apiece. You'll probably have to buy 5 dollars worth. To avoid my having to explain a lot here just google this topic and view. If your not willing to repair it yourself you can hire it done. If you would rather do neither it may be a reason to buy a new one. However capacitors are cheap and easy to replace if you have some DIY blood in your veins. Good Luck.
