Boot Screen in 7 not appearing

Instead of the boot screen ( ) appearing, instead, there are 8 short blue lines in the top-left corner of my screen.
I have no idea what's wrong, and would like to know what might help solve this issue.
Note: the computer does boot eventually.
Thanks.

Hello hunte922

For how long the boot screen have been changed ? You may try to do a System Restore earlier than that time.

At the same time, you should run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker , to make it sure that there is no system file violations.

If all failed, try Windows 7 Boot Updater Beta, and apply the Default.zip boot animation using it.

let us know how it worked

Is there a check in the box next to No GUI Boot in msconfig/boot tab?
