Can't view MY PICTURES folder on secondary drive

I recently purchased a new computer that has Windows 7 pre-installed. I took the hard drive from my old computer and installed it in the new computer. The old HD was running XP. I was hoping to move all of the pictures from the MY PICTURES folder on the old XP drive to the MY PICTURES folder on the new Windows 7 drive. In Windows Explorer, I can see the drive that was running XP, but I can't view the MY PICTURES folder on that drive. Also, when I use the search feature in Windows Explorer and do a search for "*.jpg", all of the picture show up in the search results, but I can't navigate to the folder location that the pictures are shown in.

Does anyone know how to make the MY PICTURES folder on the old XP drive accessible?

The easiest way is to add a Take Ownership Shortcut to your right click Context Menu.

Then you open Windows Explorer, navigate to the the 2nd hard drive then right click on Documents and Settings and select Take Ownership. When that completes you should be able to access the files you want.
