Downloads" folder in the "Users" folder does not appear in Favorites

Hi, I'm using Windows 7 Home

I changed the location of my "Downloads" folder in Favorites to my "Dropbox" folder also located in Favorites

When I click on "restore favorite links" I get a new folder called "Downloads" except the target is "My Pictures" (you can see the picture icon in the downloads folder)

I've looked inside my "Dropbox" folder for the "Downloads" folder but its not there

Is there a settinng for "restore favorite links" so I get the downloads folder and not the picture folder?

ps. the "Downloads" folder under my user name in the "Users" folder does not appear in my "Favorites" when I click on "restore favorite links" and instead "My Pictures" shows up there buts its named "Downloads"

    Thanks a Million !

Hello r cam, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to restore the default folders and their default locations.
You might consider this below instead to be able to access the files from your libraries with the files actually located where you like. This way you will not have to worry about any potential issues, as you found out the hard way, that could happen when moving user folder locations.
    Hope this helps, :)

    Thanks Shawn!

It was a long few steps but I think it worked!

The icon for the "Downloads" folder actually shows the "download arrow" in the folder now (and not the "My Pictures" icon)

You're most welcome Ron. I'm happy to hear it's back in working order. :)
