problem when starting computer

    Only items in system at time of problem were
    Chipset
    Sound
    Video
    LAN
    USB 3
    Ccleaner
    Defraggler
      My Computer

    As Anthony suggested try first establishing a Clean Boot as shown in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

    If you reinstall the same Best Practices in the Clean Reinstall tutorial still apply to getting and keeping a perfect retail install. The issue is not CCleaner but likely a driver bloatware package.

    Well the error message you get refers to Asus files!!!! See the Asus Forum topic on this very problem. There is the solution there as well!

    thanks for all the help, i have fixed the problem.
    found solution on forum.piriform.com
    deleted "isetup" from task scheduler and all is good
