Screen hangs, sometimes going black, feedback from speakers.

As per title, screen will hang, sometimes going black. I get feedback from the speakers. Keyboard and mouse are both unresponsive. Has happened with games both online and offline.

Had it happen again yesterday, semi recovered and was got an error saying it was because the GPU had timed out.

Tried this fix from MS: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error in Windows 7 or Windows Vista

Haven't seen the problem since. I hope this is helpful to some of the others having this issue.
