I got a Toshiba laptop about 5 months ago and when I first got it it was super fast and had no trouble playing games, over the months i have been doing system restores so it was back to factory settings and the past few days iI could not run anything. Games fan in 1fps, YouTube videos haven't been loading, iTunes takes about 5 minutes to load. System restore does not help me anymore.

6.00 GB of RAM
Intel i5 2430M 2.40GHz
Intel 3000 HD Graphics
Windows Home Premium 64Bit

I get 50Mbps down and 2Mbps up

What about all the Windows Updates? If you keep doing system restores back to factory condition you're 5 months behind.

It would be much better to make images you can use to recover with in case of disaster.
