Hello, today we set-up a brand new P.C.
We enabled Raid-0 on our two SSD's, and then installed windows 7 ultimate onto them. After everything was set up nice and dandy, I decided to go into the BIOS (mobo is Asus crosshair Formula V) and change the ram speed. (ram is dominator GT at 2133 mhz O.C.) In the BIOS, the ram is set to run at 1333 mhz. So I changed it to 2133 mhz and restarted.
After I restarted, the BIOS did not come up. Instead, the manufacturer of the RAM came up showing my current RAM speeds, and then proceeded to tell me "No operating system found". So I panicked, restarted it and went into the BIOS an.d changed the ram back to normal. Phew. Everything boots up normal (BIOS), except there is STILL NO OPERATING SYSTEM FOUND.
So I googled it, and found that if we boot it up with the windows 7 cd in, I could repair it. I proceeded, however no
drivers were found. Aha! I said... So i plugged in the USB with the RAID control drivers from AMD. Didn't work at all. So now I'm sitting here stressed out.
P.S. I read somewhere that if there is a USB in, it'll try to load from that and it'll say no operating system detected. There is no USB in.
