File pane folder automatic scrolling

Hi.

I've searched the forum for this specific issue and found noting, so sorry if I've missed it.

To replicate the issue, follow those steps. Note that the behavior is the same no mater the view style IE: List, details, tiles or content. For my example, I use the detail view. Also note that the behavior I'm describing occurs in the file pane. Not the navigation pane (extreme left of the window, if enabled) or the preview pane (extreme right of the window, if enabled).

1-Open a folder which contain many sub-folder.
2-Resize the window so you must scroll to see the other sub-folder that are now out of view (more folders in the window than the window size allow you to see at once).
3-Scroll the window to the middle (If you have, say, 50 sub-folder, scroll to roughly the 25th one). If the current windows size allow you to see 10 folder at once, then you must have 20 folders above and 20 folder below what your are seeing that are out of view.

Now the problem:

1- Click on that folder that is right in the middle of the window to access the sub-folder
2-Go back to the previous folder and now the folder that you just accessed that was in the middle of the windows is now at the very bottom.

That auto-scrolling folder to the bottom of the window in the file pane each time you go up and down a folder level is VERY annoying when you want to acess the next folder which is now out of view. I often need to validate stuff inside sub-folder one after the other and this auto-scrolling requires an unwanted extra step to scroll the windows back up 1 notch so the next folder can be seen.

I have Classic explorer 3.6.0 installed and the only thing that is close to this is the "Fix folder scrolling" option. Unfortunately, this option is for the navigation pane, not he file pane... Windows XP doesn't exebit that behavior. When you go back to the previous folder, everything is the same as before you went in the sub-folder, no auto-scrolling of any kind.

Thanks in advance for any tips or trick you might have.

Ramon
