I've been looking on the search function to find a problem similar to mines, but I have not. So hopefully this is not a duplicate post, and if so, could you be kind enough to redirect me to such forum thread.
Computer upgrade: Currently, I have a Gateway NV75S23u laptop with Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model (upgraded from the factory 2 x 2GB RAM).
Other information which may/not may be useful: AMD quad-core cpu A6-3420M, AMD Radeon HD 6520G with 512 graphics system memory, 320 gb hdd.
Issue: When I hibernate my laptop for some time (at least 10 min), I get the Windows Resume loader Error black screen when I try to wake up my laptop from hibernation, telling me that my memory config. changed since i last went into hibernation. When I resume my windows, my memory usable for windows is about 3.48 out of 8gb. However, when I restart, I see about 7.4 roughly memory usable.
I've tried disabling the hibernation function and restarting. Then enabling the hibernation function. I restarted my computer after that, yet i still get the same error.
Any suggestions on how to fix that?
[edit] under issue paragraph, I added "when I try to wake up my laptop from hibernation".
