Startup items - which ones do I need?

Here are all of the startup items on my PC:

    1. Intel(R) Common User Interface
    2. Intel(R) Common User Interface
    3. Intel(R) Common User Interface
    4. Microsoft Security Client
    5. RegistryBooster
    6. Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    7. SUPERAntiSpyware
    8. Java(TM) Platform SE Auto Updater 2 0
    9. Adobe Reader and Acrobat Manager
    10. Apple Push
    11. QuickTime
    12. VistaBroadcomPBN Module

Which (if any) of these would you recommend I disable on startup?

    Thanks for your time!

    Hello TrueBlue502

The only one that has to be kept on that list is Microsoft Security Client and possibly Microsoft® Windows® Operating System as I'm not sure what that is without the command and location part of msconfig(I don't have that). The rest is down to personal preference on how often/quick you want other programs to open. Disabling from start-up doesn't mean you can't use them only that you will have to manually start them as and when you need them.

Thanks Danny. The location of "Microsoft® Windows® Operating System" is HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Any idea of what to do with it?

The command for Microsoft Windows Operating System has to do with AMD Accelerated Video Transcoding Device Initialization.

I have the same thing and turned it off! I have no issues.

I would keep everything labeled Microsoft and Intel, and then disable the rest. You aren't going to see much of a difference, but it can't hurt. While you are cleaning up, you could remove Registry Booster completely from your system.
